General transport information can be found at

From hotels in Varese to JRC
During the days of the Conference (on 5, 6, and 7 October 2011), busses will pick-up participants from the hotels in the morning (at around 07:30), and bring them to the Joint Research Centre. A precise schedule will be distributed later. In the evening transport is arranged back from the JRC to the hotels (departure around 17:45 after the presentations).

In addition, around noon on each day an additional bus service collects people from the hotels, allowing them to come to JRC a bit later.

If you use your own car, you can enter the JRC. At the reception please tell that you are coming by car, and give your car’s license number.
