In general Graz airport (Austria) is probably the most convenient option when traveling to Maribor (around 60 km away). With daily flights serving the major destinations in European countries, Graz is incorporated in the international civil aviation network with direct flights from: Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, London, Zürich, Stuttgart, Vienna and Innsbruck.
From the airport, hotels and venue can be reached by taxi (price aprox. € 50.-) or train (unfortunately only few trains operate between Graz airport and Maribor).
Arrival by train
The main railway station is about 20 minutes by bus or taxi from the venue and hotels.

Arrival by carMaribor is located at the hub of Central Europe's road network. Venice, Munich and Budapest are only about six hours and Vienna about two hours drive away.
Arriving from Ljubljana. Take road A1/E57 (about an hour).
Arriving from Austria, take A9 and take road E57 and E59 then. Maribor is located only a few minutes away from the Austrian border.
Arriving from Zagreb take road 1/E59 (about 2 hours). Public transport in Maribor
There is a bus network serving the city. To reach the venue you should take bus no. 6 (vzpenjača = cableway) and go to the final station. The Habakuk hotel is only a few meters away.
